Adam Gibson: Owner, Training Director, and Certified Master Trainer at Top Dog Professional Training

Adam was born and raised in Indiana where he had the opportunity to always grow up with a family dog. He's been passionate about animals since day 1, and made it his goal in high school to find a career where he could always work with them. He began by looking into Veterinary Science, but soon found that his passion lied in working hands on with the animals and getting to have some fun with them. He attended Brigham Young University in Idaho where he studied Business Management, but he says his real education began back when he started volunteering at animal shelters while he was still in high school.

Adam began his formal hands-on education with dogs when he attended Northstate Academy in North Carolina. Northstate is a division of Tarheel Canine inc., a company which has successfully trained thousands of police K9's internationally. At this school, Adam earned certifications in pet dog obedience, search and rescue, drug and bomb discovery, and controlled aggression. Following his schooling in North Carolina Adam immediately attended That's My Dog! E-Cademy in Wisconsin where he was certified in e-collar training.

Adam continues to look for ways that he can expand his knowledge and skills. He has earned certifications in many other methods including: Syn-Alia, Clicker, and Luring. Adam feels strongly about furthering his education because he cares so deeply for animals; he wants to ensure that all of the dogs he works with are guaranteed a training method that will work for him/her.

Randi Gibson: Master Trainer Apprentice

I have been an animal lover since day one! There has never been a time where I didn't have a dog as a companion. I remember when I was about 10 years old, I met one of my parent's friends who had and trained 5 Welsh Corgis to do agility. I was very intrigued so she showed me a few of her courses. I loved it! So, of course I went home and set up my own agility courses in the backyard using lawn chairs, logs and whatever else I could find that resembled agility equipment, and taught my Dalmatian and Rottweiler to go through this hand made course. As I grew up, I volunteered at Humane Societies, big cat sanctuaries, and became a Veterinary Technician. I had my daughter in November of 2011 and took two years off of work to spend with her. I've always felt the calling for dog training, now that I've been doing it, I can not imagine doing anything else. We have a 9 year old, blind Lab mix named "Puppy", and an 8 year old Great Dane name "Diesel". If he had it his way, he would be my shadow at all times.
