START WITH A STRONG FOUNDATION

Bringing a new puppy into your home is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever have. The first few weeks and months with your dog are going to have a major impact on the way that your dog acts, learns, and behaves for the rest of his/her life.  It can also be intimidating, challenging, and downright difficult. We provide you with the help you need to make sure that these impressionable moments are used to create a solid foundation that will ensure a lifetime of happiness with your dog.

Group Puppy Classes

This class focuses on socializing and desensitizing your puppy along with basic obedience.

There is nothing more fun than getting your puppy together with a bunch of other puppies! These classes are designed for dogs from 7-20 weeks old. Our group classes focus on the importance of socialization, obedience, and desensitization. You'll be taught how to avoid a lot of the common mistakes that puppy owners make in this important stage of life.

What can you expect to get out of this class?

The most important thing you will gain from this class will be the leadership skills you need in order to have a successful relationship with your dog for the rest of it's life. Obedience training is far from the most important thing you will learn from this program. Below are a few of the things that will be taught, but please keep in mind, the primary focus of this class is to create a well balanced dog.

  • Housebreaking
  • Obedience Training (such as: walking on a leash, waiting at the door, not jumping up, off of furniture, etc.)
  • Learn How To Stop Unwanted Behaviors (such as: nipping, play biting, chewing, whining, digging, etc)
  • Fun Puppy Games (both as a group and ones you can play at home)
  • Basic Care and Grooming Instruction
  • Safe Toys and Treats Training
  • Pet First Aid Information
  • Weekly Take Home Worksheets

Group Classes are held in several locations around Fort Worth, Burleson, Cleburne, Joshua, and surrounding areas to make travel for the group easiest. Please contact us to find the location nearest to you!

Private Puppy Lessons

For those with a busier schedule we offer private lessons as an alternative to our group classes. These programs are fully customizable to meet both your needs, and your schedule requirements. We can cover the same basics that are taught in the group puppy classes, or focus more on a specific desire that you have for your puppy. Each lesson typically lasts about one hour. We can teach the lesson in your home, at a park, or at our private training facility. The trainer will instruct you on how to train your puppy, and then you'll be given some practice routines to go over before returning for your next lesson.

These private lessons are available for puppies from 7-16 weeks old.
